My client specialises in the installation, repairs and maintenance of Industrial, High speed, garage, and panoramic doors and shutters. They have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Manager who has 3-5 years experience and is seeking the opportunity to grow into a project manager role.
Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of contracts within our organisation. Knowledge of all types of industrial doors including roller shutters, sectional doors, high speed doors, personnel doors, dock levellers, and dock shelters is essential. As an integral part of our team, your role is to survey, estimate, and manage new commercial installations, servicing, and repairs. You'll have the opportunity to contribute to company progression and strategy.
Responsibilities
1. Manage contract compliance and performance
2. Monitor contract progress and resolve any issues that may arise
3. Maintain accurate records of contracts and related correspondence
4. Carry out site surveys and issue estimates to potential clients
5. Day to day management of site engineers and teams
Experience:
* Proven track record in the industrial door industry
* Possess a keen understanding of associated construction trades and the ability to adapt designs as needed
* Great communication and client relationship skills
* Attention to detail
* A drive to deliver high-quality work for our clients
* Confident in IT systems
