English Teacher (SEMH School) - Basingstoke
Are you an inspiring and dedicated English Teacher with a passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? Teaching Personnel are seeking a committed English Teacher to join a small SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) school in Basingstoke.
About the Role:
* Location: Basingstoke
* Class Size: Small groups of no more than 9 students
* Curriculum: National Curriculum, teaching English up to GCSE level
* Start Date: ASAP (subject to vetting checks)
* Contract: Initially through Teaching Personnel, transitioning to a permanent contract upon successful completion of the probation period
Requirements:
* UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is essential
* Proven experience teaching English to GCSE level
* Experience working with SEND and SEMH children
* Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of small class sizes and individual students
* A compassionate and patient approach to education
