My client is at the forefront of this high-end development and has a reputation for driving innovation and excellence throughout their projects. As a Project/Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of an exciting project in one of London's most dynamic locations along with scope to work on other high-profile projects in the future. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the commercial and contractual aspects of a package of work across the project, ensuring cost control, and maximizing profitability. Utilising your expertise with contracts, you will provide strategic guidance and support to the project teams. Key Responsibilities Work closely and collaboratively with the Senior Quantity Surveyor (Commercial Lead) and the rest of the team to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of the project in hand. Prepare accurate cost estimates and budgets, monitor costs, and manage financial reporting. Procurement and management of subcontractors whilst ensuring costs fall within pre-agreed budgeting. Provide expert advice on contractual matters and dispute resolution. Collaborate with project teams to ensure efficient contract administration and compliance. Lead procurement activities, including tendering and contract negotiation. Prepare accurate cost estimates and budgets, monitor costs, and manage financial reporting. Analyse project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies. Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth. Requirements Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a similar construction environment Degree / HND qualification in Quantity Surveying or another relevant subject. Registered with the RICS / CICES and/or working towards professional chartership - preferable Excellent working knowledge of standard forms of contract (NEC & JCT) and standard methods of measurements Commercial astute with notable experience working on £multimillion building construction projects.
