About the role Responsible for driving new business growth and expanding the company’s client base within the global legal market. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining new/existing client relationships, and working closely with the Comparative Guide team to deliver outstanding new level of content that compliments existing. The ideal candidate will have some commercial exposure to sales and business development and excellent communication skills. Key responsibilities: Proactively research and engage with new prospects to understand their needs and how they want to work with the Legal Community Qualify leads and guide them through the whole sales cycle Engage with Partners and Marketing specialists in the world's top-ranked law firms via phone, email and face to face meetings Close deals to meet individual and team targets Accurately report and maintain a pipeline of potential clients Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and client needs Collaborate with the team to expand the portfolio The ideal candidate You'll have excellent written and oral communication skills You'll be able to show strong interpersonal skills for both internal and external contacts Reliable, diligent, and professional when dealing with clients and colleagues Competitive and ambitious in achieving targets Experience of sales (legal industry preferred but not essential)
