Job summary Under the Direction of the Chief Operating Officer / Deputy Chief Operating Officer this role will lead QVH in the delivery of the Trusts Emergency Preparedness, Resilience and Response (EPRR) programme, providing training to staff across the trust, support and advice across all parts of the organisation to ensure it is prepared for all emergencies. In addition, provide the specialist role of Tactical Advisor to Tactical Commanders during an emergency response. Main duties of the job The Emergency Preparedness, Resilience and Response Officer will provide support to ensure the EPRR corporate responsibilities are met and provide assurance that the Trust complies with the Civil Contingencies Act 2004, and any associated Emergency Preparedness, Resilience & Response (EPRR) guidance, including NHS England's (NHSE) Core Standards for EPRR. The post will monitoring that co-ordinated systems are in place in all areas of the organisation to ensure that core critical services are maintained in response to any reasonably foreseeable event.
