Job Title: Dual Registered Manager - 2, Two Bedded Home for Young People (EBD) Location: Wolverhampton, West Midlands Salary: Up to £65,000 per annum Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Job Overview: We are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for a highly experienced and passionate Dual Registered Manager to lead a brand-new two 2-bedded homes for young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) in Wolverhampton. This is a rewarding and pivotal role for an individual with a strong background in managing children’s residential services and a passion for making a positive difference in young people's lives. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring high standards of care and service delivery are met, and maintaining compliance with regulatory bodies. The role will involve managing the operational and strategic aspects of the home, developing a strong team, and driving continuous improvement in care quality. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the two 2-bedded home, ensuring safe, effective, and high-quality care for young people with EBD. Oversee the planning and delivery of individual care plans in accordance with young people's needs. Ensure the homes are compliant with all relevant legislation, regulatory standards, and policies (e.g., Ofsted). Take responsibility for risk assessments, safeguarding, and child protection protocols. Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of support staff to ensure they are motivated, trained, and delivering the best care possible. Manage recruitment, training, and development of staff to maintain a high standard of care. Monitor staff performance and conduct regular supervisions, appraisals, and team meetings. Oversee the budget for the home, ensuring financial resources are used effectively. Monitor expenditure and ensure cost-effective solutions are implemented without compromising quality of care. Key Requirements: Qualifications & Experience: NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management (Children and Young People) or equivalent. Experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in a children’s residential setting, particularly with young people with EBD. Extensive knowledge of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding procedures, and children's care legislation. Proven experience in staff management, including recruitment, training, and performance management. Caring, and resilient, with a passion for supporting young people to thrive.
