We are seeking a talented Semiconductor Process Design and Integration Engineer to join our team in Newport. About the Role
This role involves working as part of a highly skilled engineering team, dedicated to developing wide bandgap semiconductor technologies and advancing the next generation of power device products.
Key Responsibilities
As a senior engineer in Semiconductor Process Design and Integration, you will:
* Create and simulate process flows for the fabrication of advanced SiC Power MOSFETs.
* Design PCM/TEG structures to monitor and evaluate process performance.
* Define specifications for individual process steps and collaborate closely with the fab team to implement them.
* Conduct electrical characterizations of SiC power devices and related PCM/TEG structures.
* Extract key device parameters (e.g., gate oxide thickness, charge density, channel mobility) through detailed data analysis.
* Plan and execute process experiments to optimize yield and expand process capabilities.
What You’ll Bring to the Role
We’re looking for a candidate with:
* A PhD or Master’s degree in semiconductor device or material physics.
* At least 2 years of experience in power semiconductor development.
* Strong project leadership skills, including experience with process integration, simulation, and characterization.
* Expertise in TCAD simulation for wide bandgap semiconductors, along with tools such as MATLAB or MathCAD for data analysis.
* Knowledge of semiconductor materials and their applications in power device technologies.
