Whitehall Garden Centre is a family run and award-winning business. An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of an inspirational team as a Seasonal Department Manager.
The ideal candidate will ideally have a passion for customer service, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and great motivation are essential to create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
Working 4 days between Monday to Friday and alternate weekends.
Previous experience in a retail and merchandising role is preferred.
Seasonal Department Manager responsibilities:
1. Sales opportunities are generated through interaction with customers and good use of product knowledge
2. Maintain a harmonious and cooperative relationship with staff, managers and third parties
3. Ensuring all customers are greeted and offered assistance
4. Handling customer queries courteously and efficiently
5. Co-operates fully with the Directors
6. Feeding back on current and new products to optimise range and stock availability.
7. Spring & Summer requires knowledge and showroom creation of Garden Furniture and outdoor living ranges.Autumn & Winter requires knowledge and display creation of the Christmas department.A creative flair is desirable to assist in creating the Christmas displays.
