Salary: Starting from £83.40 per day (PAYE), dependent on experience and qualifications
Working Hours: Full Time – Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm | Part Time – Flexible hours available
We are seeking a dedicated and confident SEND Teaching Assistant to join our inclusive school team. This is an exciting opportunity for full-time and part-time candidates who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of students aged 8 to 18 years old with additional needs.
Job Specification:
1. Provide 1:1 support to students with special educational needs, helping them engage in lessons and develop academically, socially, and emotionally
2. Deliver sessions based on written plans prepared by the teachers, ensuring learning objectives are met
3. Support students with a variety of needs, including ASD, SEMH, ADHD, and other additional learning needs
4. Assist with the development of social skills, self-regulation, and emotional wellbeing
5. Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
6. Work collaboratively with the class teachers and other staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for each student

1. Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs, specifically ASD, SEMH, ADHD, and other additional needs
2. A proactive and flexible approach to supporting students’ individual learning needs
