Position: Court Liaison Worker

Full Time Hours: 37.5 per week
Full Time Salary: £27,861.26 - £32,002.35 dependent on experience (based on full time working hours, pro rata for part time hours)
Contract: Fixed term contract until 31st of March 2026

Responsibilities
As a Court Liaison Worker, you'll play a crucial role in supporting individuals within the Criminal Justice System, ensuring they receive the right intervention at the right time. We're seeking a compassionate individual with a particular interest in working with those who may have had contact with the criminal justice system or need support for alcohol and/or drug use.
Responsibilities:
* Partnership Working: Collaborate with HM Probation Service, Court Services, and partners in the wider Criminal Justice System.
* Assessment: Conduct suitability assessments for ATR/DRR Orders and personalised assessments for individuals entering treatment via these orders.
* Court Support: Prepare court reports and provide regular training to Magistrates on CHART service and ATR/DRR orders.
* Continuity of Care: Liaise with the Community Criminal Justice team to ensure effective continuity of care for all service users.
* Monitoring: Monitor and obtain court outcomes, relaying information to wider teams.
* Interventions: Support the wider Criminal Justice team with interventions such as conditional cautions and Required Assessments.
Person Specification:
* Experience: Supporting individuals with complex barriers to success.
* Knowledge: Understanding of the Criminal Justice System and effective interventions to reduce drug-related crime.
* Collaboration: Experience working with Criminal Justice Partnerships.
