As a Portfolio Manager, your role sits within the Products and Services team and reports to the Product Director. You will play a lead role in developing the team as a Centre of Excellence on the product lifecycle and management of portfolios of products and services within us. The Portfolio Manager (Commercial and Charity) will be responsible for designing and refreshing paid-for product and service products and propositions in line with our commercial strategy, as well as developing the charitable products and services portfolio to drive impact in line with our charitable strategy. As an experienced product professional with knowledge of developing impactful products and propositions, and with a deep understanding of our target audiences, you will lead a team of Product Managers and Product Associates to drive the success of products and services within the product portfolio. Working closely with the Product Director you will lead on the product portfolio strategy and oversee the management and development of products throughout their lifecycle. You will: Be responsible for designing and refreshing products, services and propositions across our commercial and charitable portfolios. Ensure the product portfolio is fully compliant with regulation, industry standards and aligned with our membership, qualification and strategy. Work closely with our membership, qualifications and market development teams to deliver greater value to our audiences. Work with our Professional Standards team to ensure our products and services support raising standards and advances the relevance of Bookkeepers and Accounting Technicians. Manage performance of products across the product portfolio, taking appropriate action as required. Provide inspirational and operational leadership to the commercial and charity product team. You will collaborate with colleagues across the company to develop and deliver an ambitious product portfolio roadmap, working closely with Product Managers to ensure: Customer problems are clearly articulated. Market opportunities are identified and maximised. Clearly defined value propositions that underpin growth and engagement and support KPI delivery are developed. Team members maintain relevant and timely market insight and product knowledge to drive action across the company. Performance of products and services across the portfolio is monitored and managed effectively. Budgets are built and managed effectively. What are we looking for?
