The Leave Team at easyJet is dedicated to managing all annual and social leave for our 14,000 crew members across our network. This team plays a crucial role in overseeing the guaranteed days off system and handling various country-specific entitlements. They are responsible for planning and delivering the annual leave bid for our crew, ensuring compliance with establishment, country, and collective labour agreement (CLA) requirements.
We are recruiting for a Senior Crew Leave Officer for a 15-month fixed term contract. You will lead and coordinate the tasks within the crew leave team, ensuring the smooth operation of the leave calendar, including Leave Bids, Summer Leave Agreements, Auto Allocation, and Parental Leave. You will work closely with the Crew Planning Rostering Manager to ensure all leave adheres to country legislations and agreements. Your role will involve identifying system defects, overseeing User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and managing system development to maintain a robust and stable leave management system.
Additionally, you will deliver training, conduct quality control audits, and support the Leave Superusers during the leave bid process. Your role will include coordinating crew communications and supporting the Rostering Manager with union briefings and industrial relations. Your commitment to easyJet will involve ensuring compliance with company policies, supporting safety investigations, and always acting in a safe and responsible manner.
What you need to do this role
We are looking for an experienced professional with at least three years in a planning or establishment role, ideally within an operational planning environment, managing a resource of 200 or more. You will be a self-motivated leader who can inspire a team to deliver results in a fast-paced setting. Strong teamwork skills are essential, with the ability to challenge constructively to improve processes and crew leave quality.
A detailed understanding of Leave and Guaranteed Day Off (GD0) systems within Airline Information Management Systems (AIMS), along with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, is highly desirable. You should have a current working knowledge of crew leave agreements across the easyJet network and a solid understanding of Flight Time Limitations (FTL). Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, along with a keen eye for detail, are crucial for success in this role.

Location & Hours of Work
This is a full-time 40 hour per week position. We support hybrid working and we spend three days per week in the office in Luton.
