Summary: We are seeking a 2nd/3rd line Service Delivery Engineer to work a varied shift pattern, Monday to Thursday, including night shifts. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in Tier 3 resolution at administration level across cloud, server, networking, and virtualization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Engage with clients to determine technology requirements
• Deliver projects to a defined scope, quality, cost, and timescale for outcome success
• Clarify client system specifications, understand working practices, and the nature of the customer's business
• Develop new technologies and implement them
• Present solutions in clear and consistent written or oral reports using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Design, test, install, and monitor systems during the Project phase
Technical Proficiencies:
• Microsoft technologies, including Office 365 Cloud, Exchange Online, and SQL
• Server Operating Systems, Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy
• Virtualization technologies, including Hyper-V or VMware
• Network hardware, including Routers, Firewall, Switches, Wi-Fi
• IP/TCP hardware resolution at administration level
• Storage, including SAN, NAS, SCSI, iSCSI, and Fibre Channel
• Mobile Device Management, Security products
• Backup and DR technologies with a strong understanding of BCP
Package: £30,000 - £45,000 depending on experience, salary reviews, career progression, training, and certifications, On Call Allowance, Pension, Holiday, Training
