We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Manager to oversee our quality assurance processes and ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality. The successful candidate will lead a team of QA professionals, develop and implement quality control procedures, and collaborate with various departments to enhance product reliability and performance. This role requires a strong technical background and the ability to analyse complex data sets.
Responsibilities
1. Integrate with all shifts ensuring employees understand and adhere to best practice.
2. Make sure all staff behave safely, and you lead by example.
3. Coach and mentor QA and QC staff to drive standards forwards.
4. Educate and promote food safety and technical standards across the operational teams and coach best practices.
5. Competently liaise with customers and auditors as required.
6. Support all external visits to site.
7. Maintain all site food safety controls and the due diligence required to demonstrate them.
8. Audit against the defined internal audit schedule and close out non-conformances.
9. Knowledge and adherence to customer specific QAS including driving adherence of site to standards.
10. Take positive corrective action if product is not meeting specification, including root cause analysis to prevent re-occurrence.
11. Ensure that you and the team adhere to H&S policies.
12. Be actively involved with continuous improvement projects and ensure all Quality procedures are followed.
13. Drive through Quality agenda with support of Operations Team and site CI Lead.

Qualifications
1. Ideally a HND or BSc in a food related course or 2+ years of experience in a food manufacturing quality focused role.
2. Min Level 2 Food Hygiene training.

Pay: £31,500.00 per year
