Job summary An exciting opportunity has become available to join our forward thinking Resuscitation Team as Senior Resuscitation Officer. You will be suitably qualified and possess experience in an acute clinical environment. Delivery of resuscitation and simulation education is essential as is ALS instructor status. The successful candidate will be committed, dedicated, and self-motivated with excellent communication and organisational skills. You will be able to work autonomously as part of the multidisciplinary team. Main duties of the job To be responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of resuscitation and simulation training throughout the organisation. This includes a range of national resuscitation courses and the further development of simulation activity within the Trust. The post holder will have a key role to ensure the highest standards of patient safety and care are maintained through the development of all staff groups, leading on relevant audit and research and providing education of the highest standard. They will ensure that the workforce is fit for purpose in terms of their role and competencies to provide a safe, high quality and efficient service. This will be accomplished by ensuring high levels of clinical credibility and be highly visible within clinical areas.
