Role Purpose
Reporting to the Head of IT & Airport Systems Europe, the IT Vendor Manager will be responsible for the communication with all IT Hardware, Software and Service suppliers. The role will oversee all IT procurement and will require close cooperation with several finance teams within the business. Due to the different procurement processes in each country, the IT Vendor Manager will oversee this process across the entire Europe region. They will also work in close collaboration with the rest of the European IT team and group central functions.
The successful candidate will be a subject matter expert in their field and be responsible for the procurement and delivery of our key IT systems and equipment, including but not limited to Network infrastructure hardware, Laptop/PC hardware, PDAs, Software and others.
This is a role that requires solid communication skills and a background in managing 3rd party suppliers. Previous experience in procurement is desirable.
What you will be doing
* Fully own the Hardware and Software Procurement
* Work closely with all current Menzies suppliers in placing purchase orders for IT hardware and Software
* Provide regular updates on order status, including communication with end users
* Ensure correct recharge actions are taken for each order
* Work in collaboration with the Menzies finance team to onboard 3rd party suppliers.
* Negotiate bulk purchase pricing with suppliers and consolidate contracts/licenses purchased by individual stations
* Be the point of contact for any procurement queries.

What we are looking for
* Previous experience in IT vendor management and procurement is a plus
* Experience in managing multiple 3rd party suppliers
* Ability to be very organized and regularly provide reports on tasks/projects progress
* Strong communication and collaboration skills.
* Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
* Experience in the aviation industry is a plus but not mandatory.
