Caddy Group are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Quantity Surveyor to join our client's dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the financial and contractual aspects of electrical projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness, and driving successful project delivery. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to work on diverse and challenging projects in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Prepare accurate estimates, budgets, and forecasts for electrical installations and projects.
2. Monitor project costs to ensure compliance with budgets and highlight variances.
3. Provide value engineering solutions to optimize project delivery.
Contract Administration
1. Draft and review contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
2. Manage and resolve contractual disputes with clients and subcontractors.
3. Prepare and submit applications for payment and manage final accounts.
Project Support
1. Conduct regular site visits to assess project progress and verify quantities.
2. Liaise with project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure financial efficiency.
3. Produce regular financial reports for stakeholders.
Risk & Compliance Management
1. Identify and mitigate potential financial and contractual risks.
2. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in all aspects of cost management.
Supplier and Subcontractor Management
1. Evaluate and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure favorable terms.
2. Oversee procurement processes and manage supplier contracts.
Skills and Qualifications
1. Education: Degree in Quantity Surveying, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
2. Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in quantity surveying, with a focus on electrical projects.
3. Technical Knowledge: Experience using CAD Software.
Skills:
1. Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
2. Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
3. Proficiency in MS Excel and cost estimation tools.
