Job Description:
We are currently looking for a Year 3 class teacher starting after Easter. This role is in a school with small classes (up to 15 per year). You will be required to take on full classroom responsibility, which includes all planning and marking. Additionally, you will support with break and lunch duty once a week.
This role also involves one day per term of outdoor learning, one day of forest school, and sports activities each week, which the teacher will need to support but not run.
Key Responsibilities:
* Teach the children the curriculum, planning all classroom lessons.
* Adapt lesson plans to accommodate different children's needs and abilities.
* Provide feedback to parents, the school, and the agency at the end of the day.
* Manage behavior and maintain a safe and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
* Support with extracurricular activities within school hours and after school.
Requirements:
* You must have a relevant teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, QTS, etc.).
* Excellent communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* A positive and compassionate attitude towards students.
* A valid right to work in the UK.
