Job Description
As a preferred supplier for Teach in Herts, Step Teachers are looking for a Physics Teacher, starting as soon as possible, part time until the end of the academic year. This Physics Teacher role is in a Secondary School in Hemel Hempstead 2 days per week Tuesday and Wednesday, and is on a supply basis until the end of the academic year. This role will involve teaching KS4 with some lessons in Year 13 as well.

Physics Teacher - Role:
* Good knowledge of the KS4 and KS5 Physics Curriculum
* Able to plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons
* Maintain a well-organised classroom and ensure the safe use and storage of all equipment
* Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the department and throughout the school
* Ability to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback
* Compliance with the school’s policies and the reliable implementation of these
Physics Teacher - Requirements:
* Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification
* Have recent mainstream school-based experience as a Science Teacher or Physics Teacher in a Secondary School
* Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management
* A relevant Science or Physics related degree is desirable
* SEND experience is desirable
