Job summary
NAHT is looking for an experienced HR Advisor. The successful candidate will provide valuable HR support and guidance to employees and managers within the union. They will provide advice on queries relating to the application and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
Reporting to the People Business partner, you will ensure a smooth operational HR delivery across the union covering the full HR lifecycle.

Experience and skills
* Previous HR experience managing a broad range of HR queries.
* Knowledge and experience using HR/people system
* Ability to deal with difficult and sensitive situations in a diplomatic manner using professional judgement
* Good analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to apply employment legislation through HR policies and procedures
* A team player, whilst also being able to work independently
* Strong interpersonal skills and can communicate effectively
What you will do
* Provide guidance on HR policies and procedures
* Manage the recruitment and onboarding processes
* Manage the application of our family friendly policies
* Handle employee relations queries professionally
* HR reporting and analytics
* Contribute to improving HR processes
* Maintain accurate HR records and documentation
