Are you passionate about the pivotal role workforce plays in the sport and physical activity sector? Do you recognise and understand the significance of Coaches, Leaders, Activators, and Officials as a cornerstone and foundation for participation? Are you driven to design and deliver top-quality and sustainable education and learning opportunities fit for a modern workforce? Are you an inspirational leader with a collaborative approach?
British Triathlon and Triathlon England are looking to recruit a Head of Workforce to lead the ongoing development and implementation of our Education and Learning Framework for our network of Coaches, Activators, Leaders and Officials across swim, bike, run and triathlon throughout England and Britain.
We are looking for a dynamic, driven, and commercially astute leader who can deliver our strategic goals and, critically, work in a collaborative leadership structure with other work area leaders to take a holistic approach to the strategic development of swim, bike, run and triathlon in England. You will be part of a committed team at the heart of this fast-growing sport, with the opportunity to be part of some truly iconic sporting moments.
The successful candidate will have experience in leading and managing education and learning provision within the sport sector, and possess a solid understanding of workforce compliance standards.
Knowledge of learning management systems and the principles of a high-quality blended learning offer are also crucial. You will need a strong working knowledge of multiple aspects of the sport and physical activity development sector, from participation and tackling inequalities to clubs and membership; understanding the role workforce development and education plays in this holistic environment. This is a challenging role, at the forefront of our development effort, and one which will have a significant impact for our stakeholder landscape and members and participants alike.
British Triathlon is one of the most dynamic and forward-thinking National Governing Bodies of sport in the UK.
