GLL is looking for a People Administrator to join the Belfast People Team. About the Role: As a People Administrator, you will be at the heart of the People Team, supporting the daily operations of our teams 17 locations in Belfast. This isn’t just about admin – it’s about being a key player in a team that values growth, innovation, and collaboration. You will work closely with the People Advisors and provide valuable administrative support to ensure our People Team runs smoothly and efficiently.
Salary: £28,887.22
Hours of Work: 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment & Onboarding : Lead on recruitment administration and bring new hires through the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition into the organisation.
2. Administrative Support : Provide essential administrative support for the People Team, managing documentation and ensuring compliance with GDPR, right-to-work and DBS checks.
3. Communication: Act as the first point of contact for employees and managers regarding people-related queries, providing clear, timely, and accurate information.
4. Minute Taking & Reporting : Take minutes at meetings and assist with reporting, maintaining high accuracy and attention to detail.
5. Training Coordination : Organise and coordinate training sessions, ensuring team members have access to the resources they need for professional growth.
What You’ll Bring:
6. Experience : At least 2 years in an administrative or HR support role, with demonstrable experience in recruitment and employee administration.
7. Technical Skills : Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Share Point, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with HR software systems (please specify any tools you’re experienced with).
8. Organisational Skills : Strong multitasking abilities, the ability to prioritise tasks, and experience managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
9. Communication : Strong written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
10. Qualifications : Level 3 CIPD qualification or working towards it.
11. Flexibility : Full UK driving license as regular travel between locations is required.
