We have a new and exciting opportunity for an M&E Mechanical Engineer to join an established FM provider. You will be a part of a team of 7 engineers.
About the role of M&E Mechanical Technician
The role is based in a newly built data centre in Essex/Hertfordshire. The ideal candidate will live within a 25 mile radius to the site.
Responsibility for the role of M&E Mechanical Technician
Fault find of infrastructure Equipment and Systems - Heating/cooling,power supply generators,UPS systems,control systems
Reactive tasks
Inspections and analysis
Commissioning and Benchmarking
Installation of New infrastructure Equipment
Decommissioning of Retired infrastructure Equipment
Power and Bonding of Server Racks
Chemical Handling
Updates to Maintenance DocumentationRequirements for the role of M&E Mechanical Technician
HV/LV aware
H&S certificate
Qualification in building services mechanical and electrical engineering to a minimum of City & Guilds
18th Edition Institute of Electrical Engineers registration
A good working knowledge of building services trades - UPS, Diesel Generators, Plumbing, HVAC systems and Refrigeration
Computer literate with good I.T. skills
Knowledge and awareness of CAFM systems and their use
