Service Delivery Manager
This is an exciting opportunity for a Service Delivery Manager to join a charity, where you will play a vital role in supporting and building relationships with young offenders.

About the Role:
As Service Delivery Manager, you will thrive when building relationships with young people and have the passion and drive to achieve positive outcomes in challenging environments. The role is based in prisons in the East Midlands, as well as in the community in partnership with other organisations. You will be responsible for engaging young people in prison and in the community to participate in the charity’s life coaching workshops and one-to-one coaching. You will manage the charity's team of freelance coaches and play a key role in project management and the smooth running of our coaching programmes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Building relationships with young people in prison and engaging them in the charity's coaching programmes.
* Maintaining these relationships before, during, and after coaching programmes to support retention and ongoing impact.
* Building relationships with professionals in prison and in the community to increase meaningful referrals to our programmes.
* Managing and maintaining regular contact with the charity's team of Life Coaches.
* Overseeing the calendar of coaches’ availability to deliver coaching programmes and the central record of scheduled workshops and one-to-one coaching sessions.
* Coordinating and managing prison vetting and Key/safety training for all coaches working in prisons.
* Maintaining records of all participants referred to and engaged in our programmes.
* Having regular meetings with the main contact person within each prison to identify and action any concerns impacting the delivery of the charity’s services.
* With the Head of Service Delivery, participating in performance review meetings with prisons, commissioners, or funders as needed.

* Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage deadlines.
* Ability to keep calm under pressure, with tact and patience when working in difficult environments.
* Understanding of issues facing children and young people in prison and in the community.
* Understanding of challenges facing staff who work in the criminal justice system.
* Experience of youth work, youth engagement, and/or working with people who face disadvantage or challenges.
* Experience of project delivery and management.
