Job Summary
To play a key role in all Digital Marketing aspects of the Group. The role covers all four main brands of the business which comprise of: Salterns Marina (including Boatyard, Chandlery and Ocean Club), Golden Arrow Marine, Salterns Brokerage and Offshore Performance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing digital marketing strategies that enhance our online presence and drive engagement and sales. This role requires a blend of analytical skills and creativity to effectively reach our target audience and achieve business objectives.
Duties
1. Support the development and implementation of the Group marketing strategy and plans across all main business areas.
2. Create and implement a Social Media engagement/content and growth strategy (paid and organic) across all brands. Be aware of social media trends and new platforms, and continually look to develop and implement initiatives to increase traffic and engagement on all platforms.
3. Be responsible for using WordPress to manage the back end of the seven company websites, adding and editing relevant content and ensuring all websites are up to date and optimised via SEO.
4. Responsible for managing PPC and Google Ad campaigns.
5. Be responsible for the continued development of the company’s content marketing program including blog writing, video production and editing, working with other team members to extract relevant content to present in a way that encourages customer engagement and increases enquiries and conversion.
6. Write and create engaging email marketing campaigns for all brands using the Mailchimp management tool.
7. Be responsible for the management of Google Business Accounts.
8. Help implement B2B & BTC communications plans to leisure customers and commercial clients.
9. Assist with print advertising artwork and media bookings where required.
10. Assist with photo shoots and interactive boat video walkarounds where required.
11. Assist with Member events and Shows where required.
12. Any other reasonable task requested by Manager.
Skills
1. Strong project management abilities with a proven track record of delivering projects on time.
2. Proficient in IT concepts related to digital marketing tools and platforms.
3. In-depth knowledge of SM and SEO techniques and best practices to enhance online visibility.
4. Exceptional copywriting skills with the ability to create persuasive content tailored for different audiences.
5. Highly organised with excellent time management skills to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
6. Experience in marketing strategies that effectively engage business clients.
7. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
8. Familiarity with social media management tools and strategies to maximise engagement across platforms.
Minimum Requirements
* One year experience preferred.
* Travel across different company sites required.
* Occasional weekend work required.
