Job Description
Anticipated Contract End Date/Length: 12 months
Work Setup: Hybrid - London Office (1-2 times in office per week); Open to candidates that can work 4 days per week (80%) or 5 days per week (100%)
Our client in the global creative consultancy industry is seeking a Senior Marketing Manager to support their UK business in growing the company market reach, working closely with the leadership team to create, build and advance client relationships, and build the company brand. You will report into the interim Head of Marketing UK, and work closely with UK Marketing Director, Company UK division, and the extended marketing team to support the wider UK Marketing & Communication priorities.
What you will do:
While this is a strategic role, it requires a hands-on approach and willingness to get involved in day-to-day delivery alongside the team. The candidate will demonstrate an acumen for high-impact thought leadership and driving joint success stories with clients and partners, both through company owned channels, PR and industry events. The candidate will also be responsible for developing the strategy to engage important client audiences at exclusive events and through strategic partnerships. This encompasses planning of major external marketing initiatives (ex: Cannes Lions and SXSW), facilitating executive network roundtable discussions, and aiding in the creation of significant target partnerships. Duties will involve enhancing our CRM database to implement effective nurturing campaigns and managing the marketing budget efficiently. The role sits within the company's marketing community, and this role will be closely aligned with colleagues across multiple parts of the organisation.
Strategy and budget ownership:
* Setting the UK marketing strategy, and aligning to UK business priorities, as well as Group and global plans.
* Securing and managing budget.
* Building relationships and managing a complex network of senior stakeholders.
* Building trusted partnerships with colleagues and work collaboratively across our global, local and Group marketing teams.
* Managing relationships with suppliers and agencies.
Lead generation through events and partnerships:
* Driving a programme of owned and industry events, with a split focus between brand awareness and lead generation, in collaboration with the growth team.
* Pushing forward a partnerships programme with key hyper-scalers including Adobe and Salesforce.
* Building and driving an ABM programme to support account growth across company division.
* Progressing our CRM database with targeted nurture campaigns to open new and progress existing client conversations in alignment with the rest of the marketing strategy.
Brand awareness and thought leadership:
* Driving brand awareness in the UK market.
* Adapting global campaigns for the UK audience and driving activation.
* Running a UK-led content programme of client success stories, reports, in collaboration with the global editorial team.
* Spearheading an awards strategy to receive market recognition for our best-in-class work.
Qualifications
* A senior marketing manager with 10-15 years B2B marketing and communications experience across content, pursuit, field marketing, lead generation.
* Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies in a complex, global organization. Experience in innovation / marketing / design / consultancy space preferred.
* Ability to flex from big picture thinking to the detail doing of a plan.
* Excellent project management, able to successfully manage multiple projects, deadlines and budgets.
* History of successful decision-making in ambiguous business environments and achieving results with limited resources.
* Outstanding communicator and collaborator, excellent written skills with the ability to present at a senior leadership level, build and manage senior stakeholder relationships.
* Proven ability to be an adaptive strategic leader with critical thinking skills alongside a creative flair and a curious mindset.
* Comprehensive digital skillset, including Salesforce and Pardot.
