An amazing specialist education centre in Maidenhead is excited to recruit an Aspiring Therapist to join their support staff team on a full-time basis. The centre supports students with social, emotional, and mental health needs, including challenges related to developmental trauma and neglect. These young people need consistency and patience to help them succeed academically, offering an excellent opportunity for Aspiring Therapists to make a difference.
Your responsibilities will include supporting students on a 1-1 basis, helping them stay focused and on task. You will collaborate with classroom teachers to develop tailored lesson plans and work alongside professional therapists, psychologists, and behavior analysts to help students reach their potential. This role provides a rare chance for Aspiring Therapists to observe and learn about career pathways in this field. You will develop effective communication skills, confidence, and learn how to support young people through challenging situations.

* £80 to £95 daily
The ideal candidate should be proactive, empathetic, and confident in taking initiative to provide high-quality care and support. Graduates in Psychology, Criminology, Sociology, etc., are encouraged to apply. Experience with SEN/SEMH children and/or adults is desirable but not mandatory.
