Main duties of the job
Due to retirement of our senior partner, we are looking to recruit a GP with a view to partnership for between 4-5 sessions per week. This is an ideal opportunity to practice excellent General Practice medicine in combination with a portfolio career, outside interests, or caring responsibilities.

John Hampden Surgery is a small, friendly, village practice located in the beautiful Mid Chiltern countryside with easy access to the M40 and M1. We are a small team with a supportive and caring attitude for staff and patients alike.
Full support is provided by our existing clinicians and practice management staff in a culture where training and personal development are encouraged, 4 partner, village GMS practice

Roles and Responsibilities: As a General Practitioner at our clinic, you will be responsible for:
19. Patient Consultations:
Conduct thorough patient interviews and examinations. Diagnose and manage a variety of acute and chronic medical conditions. Provide health education and promote wellness and disease prevention.
20. Treatment Planning:
Develop effective treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. Prescribe and review medication regimens. Refer patients to specialists when necessary.
21. Clinical Procedures:
Perform minor surgical procedures and other relevant clinical tasks. Conduct routine check-ups and health screenings.
22. Patient Records Management:
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records. Ensure confidentiality and data protection compliance.
23. Team Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care. Participate in regular team meetings and case discussions.
24. Professional Development:
Stay updated with the latest medical research and best practices. Engage in continuous learning and professional development activities.
25. Emergency Care:
Provide immediate care in medical emergencies.
Qualifications:
26. Medical degree from an accredited institution.
27. Valid medical license and GP registration.
28. Proven experience as a General Practitioner.
29. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

36. Foundation Programme trained
