This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Temporary Technical Officer to join our Land Charges team. The Role: To provide technical and administrative support to the Land Registry project in terms of identification, collection, recording and quality of spatial data across multiple Council services. Data capture is essential to this role. You will report directly to the Service Lead for Information Governance and Elections. Your role will involve: To access, retrieve and update deferral records from the Land Registry System and to locate the relevant planning file, held either in the Planning system (Uniform), in paper form, on CD or microfiche. To retrieve historic applications held on microfiche from basement storage and to view microfiche to locate plans and spatial extent. To interrogate Uniform data and correct/input spatial extent. To read plans to ascertain the spatial extent of the application site. To plot the spatial extent of an application into the Land Registry deferral record.
