HTC is a privately owned group which began in 1970 under the Vales Group of companies in Watford, Herts. They were one of the first dealers to take on a DAF franchise in the UK. The company was acquired by Ballyvesey Holdings in 2007, a privately owned group established in 1970 whose main activities are in road transport, trailer manufacturing, vehicle and construction equipment sales and supportive services to the road transport industry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Proactively source and sell used DAF trucks to new and existing customers.
* Develop strong relationships with existing and conquest customers
* Manage the full sales process, including negotiation, finance options, part-exchange valuations, and deal closure.
* Maintain knowledge of the used truck market, pricing trends, and competitor activity.
* Ensure a high level of customer service and satisfaction throughout the sales process.
* Work closely with the aftersales, finance, and procurement teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.
* Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets.
* Maintain accurate records in the CRM system and provide regular sales forecasting.
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience in used truck sales or commercial vehicle sales is essential.
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
* Ability to build rapport and maintain long term customer relationships.
* Target driven and motivated by achieving sales and commission-based rewards.
* A proactive, self-motivated approach with strong business development skills.
* Full UK driving licence required.
