As Welfare Administrator, you will be joining a small team responsible for delivering vital pastoral services within the undergraduate School of Medicine. Supporting over 2500 students, you will play a key role in supporting, and improving, the student experience. You\\\'ll be based in the Faculty Education Office where we coordinate the student journey from admission to graduation, providing first-line services to students, supporting strategy and policy development, financial management, communications, governance and quality.
What you would be doing
You will be responsible for providing welfare support and guidance to undergraduate students and staff with a responsibility to escalate student cases where appropriate. You will also be involved in liaising with other support services to ensure there is a coordinated approach to student support. An integral part of the welfare administrator role will be managing the student support programme which includes coordinating additional exam arrangements and support adjustments, to ensure these are implemented in a timely manner.

* Previous experience in a higher education role
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* High attention to detail with strong organisational skills
* Prior experience of servicing committees and minute taking

Further information
Please note this role is a fixed term contract for 9 months, commencing from February 2025. There is a possibility of secondment for internal candidates.
