Safeguarding Manager
Permanent, Term Time + 2 weeks to be worked in the school holidays

Grade 10 - SCP 24 to SCP 29
Starting Salary £30,533 per annum
Working Hours: 37 Hours per week 8.00am to 4.00 pm Monday to Friday (Some flexibility on working hours where the job role requires)
Would you like to work within a vibrant and committed school community, impacting positively on young people’s lives? We are looking to appoint an experienced and committed Safeguarding Manager to work as part of the pastoral team at Queen Elizabeth’s School.
We are looking for someone who is able to:
1. Demonstrate professional experience of child-centred practice
2. Show effective knowledge of national and local guidance for safeguarding children and young people
3. Show positive experience of developing tailored individual and organisational approaches
4. Demonstrate experience of contributing to a strong team ethos
5. Fulfil the role of Senior Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead, providing operational support
Additionally, you will be familiar with the external support children and their families can draw upon, in order to facilitate access to appropriate intervention. You will be committed to achieving the best outcomes for young people.
You will have:
6. Tenacity and resilience whilst being adaptable, working with integrity to dynamically support the school community as part of the wider team.
7. You will have meticulous attention to detail in the recording and sharing of information for safeguarding and in line with UK GDPR law and play a central role in the ongoing development of online systems within school.
