Job Summary
* To design, communicate and implement a safe, suitable, efficient system and sequence of works for all installations.
* Assist the Contracts Manager to ensure the smooth running of the office based team and all Floorspan on-site installations.
* Represent Floorspan Contracts and your area of responsibility at client and contractor meetings.
Accountabilities
* Carrying out site surveys and check all “as built” dimensions for conversion to a casting schedule.
* Communicating in detail, the chosen installation approach to the Customer and the relevant members of the installation team.
* Select the appropriate plant and machinery for the chosen installation approach.
* Propose the methodology for the installation process to include:
o Logistics
o Plant and Machinery
o H&S Requirements
o Any materials required
o Site support needed
* Complete and share all necessary Risk Assessment and Method Statement paperwork in a timely manner.
* Coordinate with other parties involved with the installation process to get the job done in a safe and efficient manner.
* Achieve customer/contractor agreement to the proposed plan.
* Communicating the potential for additional costs to the Floorspan team as a result of the site survey.
* Liaise with the Floorspan Transport team over selection of delivery vehicles.
* Proactively monitor all external factors that may affect the installation of floors, for example, weather conditions, ensuring contingencies are put in place to mitigate any disruption to customers.
* Ensure that the quality of installations are maintained to company standards.
* Ensure all product faults and damage are reported and any replacements organised to minimise disruption to our customers.
* Support and provide guidance to all staff in the installation dept.
* Ensure you demonstrate the Company Values 100% of the time.
* Other duties consistent with the position, to ensure the maximum efficiency, effectiveness, and profitability of the operation.
* Construction contract review.
Skills and Qualifications
* CPCS Appointed Person (or equivalent)
* CAD
* Experience working on Construction Sites with an excellent understanding of site operations
* Must be able to read and understand Construction drawings
* Full Driving licence
