Our client is a not-for-profit housing association committed to providing affordable local homes for their customers. They have nearly 7,000 homes for affordable rent and shared ownership in Wiltshire, Somerset and Bath and North-East Somerset and employ over 300 staff from their offices in Trowbridge and Melksham.
The role
Our client is on the lookout for an excellent Talent Acquisition Advisor as they continue to improve and hone their recruitment process. From the initial discovery with hiring managers, through to the ‘Welcome to the Team’ handshake, you'll own the whole acquisition and onboarding journey.
Our client hires across a diverse range of roles, from Data Analysts to Surveyors, so a creative approach to resourcing is key. They want to hear about your experience using everything from LinkedIn and job boards, to careers fairs and other novel approaches.
Creating a positive candidate experience is very important to them. Drawing on your existing talent acquisition experience, you’ll have the freedom to tweak processes as you see fit, keeping an eye on the data and building metrics so we can see what’s working and what’s not.
You'll also work closely with hiring managers, understanding their needs, offering your expert advice, and building strong relationships.
Our client believes in flexibility and you will have the opportunity to work from home for part of the week. They get together in the office at least once a week, but this can vary depending on business needs.

What you’ll bring to the table
1. Solid experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, managing the full recruitment lifecycle.
2. Confident using different sourcing techniques to hire into specialist roles.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
4. An eye for data analysis and metrics.
5. Care and passion for the candidate experience.
6. A great player who is also happy to work independently.
