As a registered Mental Health Nurse, on Part 3 of the NMC Register, you will be an integral member of Community Mental Health working as a Community Psychiatric Nurse providing assessment, care, support, and treatment interventions to patients with a mental health illness.
As a mental health nurse, you will join a service that is continually developing to meet the needs of our client group. You will have experience of team working, problem solving, flexibility, continuing professional development, and change management. You will have day-to-day responsibility for managing your workload and a commitment to partnership working with a range of stakeholders.
You will be educated to degree level or have a relevant postgraduate qualification and experience relevant to job purpose. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, a well-developed knowledge of working with people with mental health problems and appropriate interventions, coupled with sound organisational skills and the ability to work on your own initiative, are essential for this post. In return, you can expect to receive clinical and managerial supervision and excellent continuous professional development opportunities to further your nursing career.
A car owner/driver is essential.
37 hours Monday – Friday.
An attractive relocation allowance of up to £8,000 is available to successful candidates.
