The Havant and Waterlooville Community Mental Health Team operates from Aerodrome House and is well known for being approachable and open. The Community Mental Health Team is focussed on delivering a recovery service for clients with severe and enduring mental health issues. We support our staff in developing their clinical skills in attending post graduate training such as physical health and nurse prescribing. Due to the nature of this post in order to carry out home visits and attend patient meetings a car driver is essential with access to own car. Main duties of the job The Senior Community Mental Health Practitioner will work as a core member of the Community Mental Health Team to co-ordinate the care of a complex caseload of service users, supervising Band 5 Community Practitioners and Band 3 Community HCSW's where appropriate.
