This position establishes strategic goals and creates short and long-term strategies for building client relationships, generating new business, and driving revenue growth for the Entertainment arm of TAG. Additionally, this role holds direct line management responsibilities for TAG’s global Marketing team. The Vice President for Entertainment Sales & Account Management is responsible for strategically and actively achieving and delivering on results while demonstrating TAG’s vision and values. Here is some of what you’ll be getting involved with: Business Management Assume responsibility for the overall success of sales, business development and account management activity in the Entertainment divisions for each worldwide location that TAG operates in. Establish and create short and long-term strategies for building client relationships, generating new business, and driving revenue growth for the Entertainment arm of TAG. Put growth and retention strategies into practice to expand and retain the client-base, and actively perform Sales and Account Management activities to achieve and deliver on results. Align Sales, Marketing and Account Management activity for smooth continuity between promoting the TAG reputation of service excellence with excellent service-delivery. Formulate and action sales/business development tactics, and attend networking, promotional and client proposal meetings and events. Utilise the expertise of Marketing staff for the benefit of TAG Entertainment divisions. Research and analyse industry conditions and TAG’s competitors to shape strategy plans within various Entertainment markets. Identify and target new products and new regions to grow the TAG Entertainment offering. Respond to any internal or external risks or opportunities promptly and proportionately. Build strong relations with key clients and suppliers to maintain TAG’s competitive advantage, value and support. Implement KPI’s and metrics to monitor target-driven goals and track revenue performance and ROI. Understand existing processes and procedures, including regional differences, to improve efficiency and effectiveness and streamline consistency wherever possible. Act on emerging technologies and support implementations to enhance the customer service proposition and client satisfaction. Oversee divisional Budgets and P&Ls for global Entertainment and Marketing departments according to set budgetary amounts and KPIs. Conduct travel review meetings with clients, suppliers and/or staff as required. Contribute towards TAG’s positioning as a market leader in the high-touch personal concierge service for other sectors of the travel industry. People Management Hold direct line management responsibilities for Entertainment Sales & Account Management teams and the Marketing management team. Lead the teams to run effective and efficient operations, ensuring the highest standards of customer service and client satisfaction are achieved at all times. Give clear direction and focus on job roles and responsibilities and set team and individual targets. Manage direct reports for all day-to-day matters and conduct performance reviews, appraisals etc. Be a coach and mentor to facilitate successful execution of duties and provide continuous motivation and encouragement to achieve business and personal success. Assist in recruitment and staff management for departmental remits as appropriate. Other responsibilities of the job: Uphold TAG’s reputation for high-quality service levels and represent TAG with full professionalism at all times. Remain an expert in Travel, Entertainment and Marketing industries. Initiate continuous improvement at staff or business level. Liaise with relevant TAG departments and personnel for global business needs or initiatives. Perform other duties as may be assigned from time to time. As the Vice President of Entertainment Sales & Account Management, there are several credentials and attributes which would be advantageous but a determined attitude and willingness to learn, are equally important. Education to Degree level or higher In lieu of education – equivalent combination of education and directly related experience Extensive and successful experience in Sales & Account Management within a TMC Comprehensive knowledge in the travel and entertainment industries Highly experienced in leading senior manager/leadership personnel Solid understanding of strategic planning and strategy execution Sound awareness of global business operations and industry market conditions Proven record of profitable success in a competitive industry and fast-paced environment Intermediate/advanced use of MS Office and other software packages The Where and When This is a full-time role based in one of our Global offices. Since March 2020, we have operated a flexible, hybrid approach to working and will continue to do this moving forward. We will work with you to find the best mix of office and home working that suits your life and the needs of the team. You will report into the Chief Revenue Officer who is based in Sydney. There are other regional teams based in the UK, US, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Saudi Arabia and South Africa that you may work closely with, too.
