Coyne Recruitment works with leading and reputable organisations across the Employability and Skills sector. We are currently looking to support a fantastic organisation in recruiting highly skilled Employment Advisors.
Role Purpose:
Employment Advisors are the front-line staff, with the main purpose of the role to support unemployed jobseekers (participants) with finding and sustaining employment, engage with employers, and make local communities aware of the benefits of our service.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
1. Meeting with jobseekers, identifying any challenges and barriers to finding employment.
2. Addressing a variety of barriers to employment with empathy and compassion.
3. Building long-lasting relationships with clients to ensure a professional and holistic approach.
4. Identifying clients' needs and requirements through detailed diagnostics.
5. Putting together SMART weekly action plans to ensure the client is moving closer to employment.
6. Motivating clients while ensuring an engaging working environment.
7. Networking with local employers to sell your clients' skills and abilities, utilising the Employer Engagement team.
8. Offering information, advice, and guidance relating to the clients' circumstances.
9. Completing Better Off Calculations and providing benefit advice.
10. Booking jobseekers into relevant training courses including customer service, security, hospitality, personal development, IT literacy, and many others.
11. Supporting jobseekers with CV writing and the job application process.
12. Liaising with employers to identify employment opportunities for jobseekers.
13. Outreach work - promoting products and services within the local community.
14. Working in a fast-paced environment and excelling at meeting strict targets and KPIs.
15. Prioritising workload and tasks to ensure high efficiency and productivity.
