Job Description What is the role? To undertake Mentor/Advisor role within Community Care Social Work Services and to take responsibility for more complex cases. This will include working in partnership with key agencies and multi- disciplinary groups who are developing services for this service user group. The successful applicant should have a demonstrable interest and expertise in working within this field and a commitment to improving outcomes for this group and understanding of the challenges experienced by those in the Community Care System. Extra information: The Grade of this post is Grade 3 / Level 11; the hourly rate is from £25.87 to £27.47 and the annual salary is from £47,213 to £50,133. These posts are considered to be Regulated Work with protected adults as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) (PVG) Act 2007. Accordingly the preferred candidate will be required to become a member of the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update if already a Scheme member, prior to any formal offer of employment being made.
