We are seeking a Sous Chef to oversee the day-to-day operations of our kitchen. This role involves ensuring all stations are properly organized and prepared for service, supervising and training junior chefs, and promoting a positive and collaborative working environment.
The ideal candidate will have experience in managing orders, food stocks, and forecasting against occupancy. They will also be able to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing requirements.
Responsibilities include:
* Overseeing kitchen operations and maintaining high standards of food safety
* Supervising and training junior chefs to promote a positive and collaborative working environment
* Monitoring inventory levels and managing food costs to meet financial targets
* Supporting the Head Chef in maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and responding to guest feedback
Key Skills and Qualifications:
* Experience in managing orders, food stocks, and forecasting against occupancy
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing requirements
* Good financial knowledge with the ability to manage costs
* Possession of relevant culinary qualifications or experience
