Our interns are matched to projects based on their abilities and current business needs. All projects will have significant strategic and/or operating importance to the business to which they are assigned. Projects may include the following responsibilities: Partner with leadership to identify and address areas to improve efficiency and benchmark with industry best practices. Become a process owner; critically review specific processes with great attention to detail and proactively recommend opportunities for improvement. Provide training across Quality functions and support laboratory testing by ensuring standard operating procedures are followed. Use highly specialized equipment and instrumentation accurately and with limited supervision. Collaborate with Quality and Operations teams to perform key product related root cause investigations and identify/provide oversight of the execution of corrective actions. Develop tools and models to improve tracking and efficiency. Collaborate with team members in Production and Quality to build robust documentation to support audit readiness. Building strong partnerships with the Quality and Sourcing teams as well as external customers to ensure the highest level of customer service. Learn continuous improvement methodologies (i.e., PPI, Six Sigma, and others) and help promote improvement initiatives. How will you get here? Undergraduate student pursuing an Engineering or Life Sciences-related degree. 0 years of work experience required; previous related internships preferred. Experience using computer applications such as MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point. Native (or proficient) in English. Internship will fulfill a 12-month University placement within curriculum. Ability to be onsite – this is not a remote opportunity. Excellent interpersonal skills and strong professional presence.
