Job Description
As a Service Coordinator, you will co-ordinate and lead Catch22’s Navigator & Tailored Support Service, which provides support to children and young adults (CYA) who are victims of, at risk of, or involved in serious/youth violence. Support will predominantly occur at ‘reachable moments’ in custody settings and hospital sites within the county of Staffordshire. Community engagement will also be offered to CYA where short-term interventions are required.
Your main duties will include:
1. Manage, supervise, and support a staff team including the oversight of case file management procedures and professional development.
2. Ensure Navigator interventions and Tailored support with CYA at risk of, victim of, or involved in violence, is delivered to the highest standard whilst corresponding directly with the service specification and as agreed with commissioners.
3. Work in partnership with key agencies to build and maintain effective and lasting professional relationships.
4. Design, co-ordinate, and deliver presentations and training.
5. Develop, design, and communicate relevant marketing materials to promote service delivery and referral pathways whilst promoting equality, diversity, and accessibility.
6. Work with the Local Authorities and Police Safeguarding Board/Partnerships to ensure positive media messages and marketing of the service.
7. Implement and maintain robust and effective information sharing pathways with partner agencies including intelligence sharing with Police Forces.
8. Support the production of monthly, quarterly, and annual service performance reports to the commissioner.
9. Identify and support access to additional or specialist services for young people, family members, and significant others.
10. Develop and maintain a support services index outlining all available agencies within the locality that can be shared with CYA, families, and significant others.
11. Complete all required monitoring information by set timescales to assist the production of feedback reports to funders and stakeholders to track and monitor progress against outcome targets, KPIs, etc. This includes the production of ‘Outcome Stars’.
Qualifications
* Minimum 5 GCSE’s or equivalent, grade “C” or above.
* Relevant professional qualification in Youth/community work, Social Care, Health, or Education.
* Degree Qualification in a relevant subject area or equivalent.
* Experience of managing and supervising a small staff team.
* Experience and understanding of Child Protection and Adult Safeguarding processes and procedures.

Salary: £31,980

Flexible working as part of a rota system including evenings and weekends.
Vetting and Clearance Requirements: Enhanced DBS check.
You will need a current driving licence, business insurance, and use of a suitable vehicle for work, and be willing to travel across Stoke and Staffordshire to deliver/coordinate service outputs. Broader travel may also be a requirement of the service.
