About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled AV Technician to join our dynamic team, providing technical support for a variety of live events and venue operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in audio, generic lighting, switching & PowerPoint, as well as basic vMix operation for virtual events. A passion for self-development and a willingness to learn through training and independent research is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Set up, operate, and troubleshoot audio, lighting, and video equipment for live events.
* Manage and support switching & PowerPoint presentations.
* Operate and maintain vMix for video mixing and streaming needs.
* Ensure the seamless execution of events through proactive problem-solving.
* Work closely with clients and venue operations to meet technical requirements.
* Maintain AV equipment and ensure it is event-ready at all times.
* Be flexible with working hours based on event schedules.
Requirements:
* Experience with audio systems, generic lighting, and video switching.
* Basic operational knowledge of vMix (willingness to expand on this is essential).
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet.
* Self-motivated with a proactive approach to learning and skill development.
* Full UK driving licence and ideally based near Coventry, UK.
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
