Sea Logistics Operational Care Specialist | United Kingdom | JR2410_0053 We have an exciting new opportunity for a Sea Logistics Operational Care Specialist to join our Sea Logistics Supplier Invoice Disputes team based at our offices in Aston, Birmingham. YOUR ROLE As a key member of the Sea Logistics Supplier Invoice Disputes team you will play an integral part in resolving any invoice queries or disputes to enable invoices to be processed. Our queries range from operational queries, to trade rate queries and to supplier disputes - some queries may be a combination of all of these. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Identify the query or invoice dispute of invoices and update relevant systems. Contact the relevant suppliers with disputes via telephone and email in line with the required format/query template. Regularly update and maintain reports in line with role requirements and relevant Key performance Indicators (KPI's). Highlight areas of improvement and escalate any issues to line manager. Build strong working relationship with branch operational teams and their suppliers. Performing any other duties agreed with your manager as and when necessary. To understand and adhere to national and local Health and Safety policies & procedures. YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, you'll have experience in maintaining good relationships with both internal stakeholders and with our external customers. Purchase ledger experience is really important. Some experience of working within a logistics environment would also be ideal, (Sea Logistics knowledge in particular). Excellent team player, focussed on providing customer excellence. Proficiency in MS 365 - especially Excel Experience (with Pivot table, Formulae and VLOOKUP). Polite and professional Teams, telephone manner and email etiquette Logical, investigative mindset with a tenacity to identify and solve problems Excellent organisational skills and strong interpersonal skills, with a strong work ethic and sound financial understanding and commercial awareness.
