We are working with a local Tewkesbury business who are leading manufacturers and distributors of industrial, electrical products, who have an opening within their technical support team. The role is to provide front line support to the internal and external sales team, communicating with clients and assisting with technical enquiries for all products and bespoke solutions. This is a varied role with great prospects.
Reporting to the Managing Director and Projects Manager, the main duties of the role and skills required are:
1. Excellent communication skills by phone and email.
2. Good customer service skills and well organised.
3. Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Office.
4. Good technical and practical skills.
5. An understanding of basic CAD and Schematics.
6. Produce CAD drawings using E Plus Electro Graphics (Full Training Will Be Given).
7. An Electrical background is desirable.
8. Work well within a team environment but able to use your own initiative.
9. Provide technical support, product relevant to the internal and external Sales Team.
10. Handle general product specific technical enquiries from client base.
11. Assist in the Preparation of quotations, bill of materials and final pricing with the assembly department.
12. Promote and advise on compatible products, services and bespoke solutions.
13. Liaise with the Sales Office Manager, Projects Manager, External Sales Team and all other.
Full product and technical training will be given at the company training centre in Italy and on an on-going basis; the ideal candidate will have experience of the Electrical Wholesale Industry and demonstrate a good technical aptitude with a willingness to learn. Hours Per Week: 8:30 - 5:00 Monday to Friday
Starting Salary: £30,000
