Job Title: Legal Secretary Location: Southport (Hybrid) Remuneration: Salary Dependent on Experience Contract Details: Permanent, Full Time (35 hours per week) Responsibilities: Effectively manage all department files (both hard copy and digital) on the SOS Case Management System, including Matter Opening, ID checks, Matter Closing, and Matter Archiving. Produce and file documents, ensuring all copies and scans are accurately managed as required. Maintain compliance with relevant regulatory standards and adhere to Office Manual processes throughout file management. Oversee the billing process, liaising with the Finance team as necessary. Prepare contracts, SDLT, and Land Registry applications with precision. draught documents for clients based on instructions from Fee Earners under supervision. Regularly update and maintain the case management system to ensure accurate records. Handle telephone calls for the team, providing professional and efficient communication. Actively contribute to operational reviews and continuous improvement initiatives within the team. Skills and Experience: Demonstrated excellence in both written and oral communication skills. Strong commercial awareness, with experience in residential property administration. Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively to meet deadlines. Self-motivated with a genuine desire to learn and progress within the role. Proficient IT skills, with experience using case management systems, particularly SOS being desirable.
