Purpose
As a Trainee Operative, you’ll learn a new hands-on skill within a permanent position supporting an established engineering company in the Dorset area. If you have a keen interest in engineering and are looking for an entry-level career opportunity, then this could be a great role for you!

Responsibilities
As a Trainee Operative, full training will be provided, and responsibilities include:
Setting up and operating electroplating equipment, including tanks, baths, anodes, and cathodes
Mixing and preparing plating solutions, ensuring proper chemical composition and concentration
Monitoring the electroplating process, including checking voltage, current, and bath conditions, to ensure quality and consistency.
Rinsing and drying of components and inspection of finished parts.
