Your Role in Building Brighter Futures
As a Clerk to Governors at Puriton Primary School, you will play a key role in contributing to the delivery of Futura’s mission statement of “Building the brightest future for all, enabling every individual to flourish”. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about living our values and making a positive impact on all the young people in our Trust.
As a Clerk to Governors, you will provide high-quality administrative support for the Academy Governance Committee (AGC), ensuring efficient organisation and communication across meetings.
Key Details:
* Location: Hybrid working available. Administrative work can be done from home, but attendance at six annual AGC meetings per school is required.
* Hours: 97 hours per year, averaging approximately 2.5 hours per week during term time.
* Flexibility: Hours worked flexibly, primarily during term time.
* Salary: Grade 5 Points 11 - 15 - £25,979 - £27,803 (full-time equivalent)
* Contract: Part-time, permanent.
As a Clerk to Governors, you will be responsible for:
* Preparing agendas and documents for AGC meetings.
* Accurately take minutes during meetings and distribute them promptly.
* Providing advice on governance, legislation, and procedural matters.
* Maintaining accurate records of committee membership and terms of office.
* Supporting communication between the school and the Academy Governance Committee.
