Are you an experienced administrator with a knack for organisation and attention to detail? Join our Business Development Unit within the Adult Care, Housing & Public Health Directorate. As an Housing Business Support Assistant, you’ll provide high-level secretarial and administrative support to the Heads of Service in Housing.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Diary management, scheduling meetings, and preparing associated documentation.
* Taking minutes at key meetings, compiling action logs, and tracking progress.
* Servicing critical regulatory assurance meetings for the Housing service.
What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
* Proven experience in administrative support, including customer interactions and using office equipment.
* Skills in organising events or meetings, preparing agendas, taking minutes, and maintaining action plans.
* Strong diary management capabilities.
* Excellent communication skills to liaise with diverse stakeholders.
* The ability to prioritise tasks and manage ongoing issues effectively.
* Experience in creating and maintaining electronic filing systems.
* Proficiency in IT systems including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, and online tools.
