Post title: Training & Resources Manager Hours: 28 hours per week (with potential to increase to 35 hours as the organisation grows) Location: WOMEN'STEC, 29 Chichester Avenue, Belfast, BT15 5EH, with regular travel to other WOMEN'STEC locations, including Newry and Derry. Salary: NJC Scale SO2, Point 26 (Pro Rata: £36,124 FTE) About WOMEN'STEC: WOMEN'STEC is a social enterprise headquartered in North Belfast. It was born out of a recognised need for the creation of non-traditional training and employment opportunities for women in industries traditionally associated with men, including construction skills, engineering, and IT. Purpose of the role: This newly created and highly collaborative role sits at the heart of WOMEN'STEC's delivery. As Training & Resources Manager, you will ensure that learning environments are safe, inspiring, and fully equipped to support women's growth and confidence in non-traditional careers. You'll lead on the coordination of tutors and resources across multiple sites, manage logistics and stock, and play a key part in fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement. From onboarding tutors to setting up outreach kits and finding smart solutions to keep things moving - your role will be critical to ensuring the smooth delivery of services that help women change their futures. Specific responsibilities: People Management & Collaboration Recruit, onboard, and schedule freelance tutors. Manage timesheets, expenses, and line-manage workshop staff. Collaborate with programme coordinators to align training content and methods. Support tutors to uphold high standards of health & safety and delivery. Scheduling & Logistics Coordinate resources, equipment, and workshop spaces across all locations. Manage the transport of outreach kits and event equipment. Oversee WOMEN'STEC van logistics, maintenance, and usage policy. Resource & Stock Management Procure, store, and distribute tools and materials across sites. Maintain stock inventories and oversee regular audits and maintenance. Liaise with suppliers and manage procurement in line with policy. Forecast future resource needs as the organisation scales. Workshop Development Set up new workshops and implement effective resource systems. Drive improvements in efficiency and sustainability. Contribute operational insights to support funding bids. Health & Safety & Compliance Lead on health & safety for all sites and outreach activity. Conduct risk assessments and coordinate training in first aid, H&S, and compliance. Act as the primary point of contact for ISO compliance relating to facilities. Full training and support will be provided for health & safety and compliance responsibilities. Person specification: Essential: Minimum 2 years' experience in people and relationship management. Minimum 2 years' experience in operations, logistics, or resource management. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organisational and project management skills. Experience managing procurement, stock, and budgets. Proficient in Microsoft Office and digital tools. Full driving licence and access to a vehicle. Willingness to travel across Northern Ireland. Proven ability to manage multiple sites or projects. Alignment with WOMEN'STEC's mission and values. Desirable: Knowledge of trades, construction, or similar sectors. Experience managing mobile resources (e.g., kits, vehicles). Familiarity with Health & Safety regulations. Budget management experience. Experience recruiting and onboarding freelancers or staff. Benefits: 25 days annual leave plus 11 statutory days (pro-rata). An extra day's leave awarded for each year of service after 2 years (up to a max of 29 days). 6% employer pension contribution.
